I am a freelance writer and broadcast journalist in Berlin. I cover a range of topics including sports (particularly German football), US and German politics, and labor.

I moved to Berlin from the US nearly a decade ago and have been a full-time journalist since 2018. I’ve reported on major sporting events and elections, and have interviewed striking gig workers, Bundesliga players, and members of German parliament.

I earned an MA in North American politics and history at Freie Univeristät Berlin in 2017. I’m frequently a guest professor at Bard College Berlin's politics department. I’ve appeared on podcasts and have experience in social media management, translation (German - English), copyediting and grant writing. My mom thinks I am really funny.
